I am having many problems with the Rock Island Shawl and it was driving me crazy.  I needed something to feel accomplished.

#8 needle for body

#9 needle for border

#10 for bind off

white is the colorway on this Aran weight yarn

10% cashmere and 90% extra fine merino

96 yds per skein

finished 1-11-12

I really like this shawl and wear it when I can.  The only issue is that is does not cover the upper chest area, but does great on the back and shoulders.

The yarn is so soft and warm.  I can't believe I waited over 10 years to use it.
