I wanted a simple shawl to make for Gifts this year. 

This is a free pattern

Yarn is Madeliane Tosh DK

a very soft yarn and cost ~ $20.00 for 1 skein 225 yds

I had a tough time wrapping my thoughts around the pattern.  Could not make it from the written instructions, thank god, there are charts!
