I saw this shawl on someone's blog and thought it was the coolest thing I'd seen

Materials

This is what I had in the stash

cost ~ $30.00 for 1 skein 1000 yds

Wool/Silk blend

Copper is the colorway on this lace weight yarn

on 5# needles I went down a needle size since I knit so loose.

This yarn was not knitting up with the large needles, so I changed the yarn to:  Mithril by the Verdant Gryphon

Up to 13 repeats at this time, but I've put the needles down for a bit while working to 2 other shawls that are going quicker:

I've seen this shawl in many sizes, but I think I'll go for the large one since it is so light and airy

I prefer this color and the stitches are showing up better.
