| This was an experiment using tissue paper to trace the image. |
| Then you embroider over the tissue paper and tear it away once you are done |
| Once finished I'll attach this piece on the neckline of the Yellow Kirtle |
It will not be this large once the edges are turned and seamed down. I may use a little interfacing to keep the linen from sagging. I noticed that the yellow neckline is doing so.
The problem with using tissue paper, is that you can't see your stitches very well. It's almost impossible to pick up just two threads. |
| Pulled away the tissue paper as best I could. |
| There are still bits left once it's washed I hope they will all go away |

Now I have to sew the back side on and include a bit of interfacing to give it stiffness.
I could perhaps use the tan with green strips linen as a surcote or cyclas for this dress. |

I wore this to Jingels and got my Award of Arms while wearing it! |
